My First Playthrough of Scott Pilgrim the Video Game Demo
In a frantic search for four player games, my husband, roommates and I have been trying out a bunch of games. We played some Fat Princess together today (so much fun!) but I had downloaded the demo to Ubisoft's Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World The Video Game last night and I thought I'd give it a whirl while they watched. Sure enough, it turned out to be playable as a four-player same-screen game. So cool.

Screenshot ganked from Ubisoft's Shop page for the game.
True to the graphic novel's retro-gaming references, the game is laid out like a good ol' fashioned 2d side-scrolling brawler. Think Double Dragon, or Ninja Turtles. It's awesome-sauce. The music is great, the moves are awesome, and the choice of characters is totally cool.
The demo allowed us to play through a level together, and we were very tempted to buy it. Immediately. We had to restrain ourselves though... There are too many other good video games coming out... Namely, Civ V is out in like, 9 days. I can hardly wait.
Anyway, if you have a chance, give the demo a whirl. It's available on the PSN Store and on Xbox Live Marketplace.
