Come on down to Avenue Q
Saw the Broadway Across Canada production of Avenue Q tonight at the NAC with the hubby tonight. It was a ton of fun. I love the irreverant (and borderline inappropriate) humour. The actors were great. As usual, though, the production suffered because of the AWFUL acoustics of the NAC's Southam Hall.
I really wish this city would get a proper performance space with acoustics worthy of a national stage. It's really quite a travesty. Anyway, I truly enjoyed Avenue Q, and it was a great way to spend an evening with the hubby. Bumped into a number of people, including my director from the office, and some friends.
Hoping everyone has a lovely earthquake-free day!
